Cooking For Guys Who Can't Cook

Chef Pat made a couple of fantastic entrees today.

Beef Stroganoff

1 Pk McCormick Sauce Mix (it's a bit salty, so be careful adding salt to taste)
2 tbsp oil
2 lbs sirloin
1 cup Sawson's low sodium beef broth (Pat prefers using this instead of water)
1 cup sour cream

Brown the meat in hot oil for 3-5 minutes. Stir in the sauce mix and broth. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cover. Cook for 10 minutes, add sour cream just before serving. Serve over extra-wide egg noodles. This is a 30-minute meal: 5-8 minutes of prep, 22 minutes to cook.

Chicken Marsala

4 boneless & skinless chicken breasts
2 tbsp flour
2 tbsp butter
2 cups sliced mushroom or 8 oz pkg
3/4 cup Holland Marsala Cooking Wine
1/4 cup water

Lightly flour chicken, sautee in butter about 4 min per side. Remove from pan and add mushrooms, cook 2-4 minutes. Stir in the wine and water, place chicken back in pan, cook for one minute. Serve by itself or with your favorite pasta.
