Zep Reunion Pushed Back A Bit

The Ahmet Ertegun Tribute concert featuring the reunion of Led Zeppelin, scheduled for November 26th at the O-2 Arena in London, has been postponed until December 10th because Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page broke his finger last weekend.

Page says, "I am disappointed that we are forced to postpone the concert by two weeks. However, Led Zeppelin have always set very high standards for ourselves, and we feel that this postponement will enable my injury to properly heal, and permit us to perform at the level that both the band and our fans have always been accustomed to."

The show will also feature performances by Bill Wyman and the Rhythm Kings, Paul Rodgers, who will take the place of Pete Townshend, and Foreigner. Yes drummer Alan White has also been added to the super group of Keith Emerson , Chris Squire, Rick Wakeman and Simon Kirke. They'll open with Emerson, Lake and Palmer's version of Aaron Copland's "Fanfare for the Common Man."

Hey...you've waited YEARS for this. What's another two weeks?

Our contest is still on, it just has different dates...
