9:44 AM: CNN Is Killing Me Right Now
I'm trying so hard not to laugh at their five-camera coverage of the any-minute-now-announcement of Obama's VP choice.
They have cameras at the EMPTY Democratic Convention stage at The Can in Denver...and at Evan Bayh's house here in Indiana...and at Joe Biden's place...and at the Governor's Mansion in Virginia...AND at Chicago's O'Hare Airport "just in case someone passes through there and gives us a hint".
One of the analysts just said "It's like the Publisher's Clearing House commercials...it's like we expect Obama to burst out a van any minute now with a bunch of balloons...ring he bell...and tell someone "You're the one!"
Too funny.
My money's on Biden, but I'd be happy with any of those three choices.
