Tickets are still available for the Saturday July 4 concert with BOB DYLAN, WILLIE NELSON, and JOHN MELLENCAMPat Coveleski Stadium in South Bend, the home of The South Bend Silver Hawks.

Despite rumors that the show is sold out, tickets are still available at the Coveleski Stadium box office, all Ticketmaster locations including Orbit Music / Mishawaka, Super Sounds / Elkhart, Karma Records / Plymouth and Wooden Nickle Records / Fort Wayne. Tickets are also available at
www.ticketmaster.com. For further information call the South Bend Silver Hawks at 574 / 235-9988. Kids 14 and under will be admitted free, one per paid adult ticket.

Gates open at 5:00 pm on Saturday. The opening act is The Wiyos (check out the interview in the Sunday June 28 South Bend Tribune). Next up will be John Mellencamp, in his only Indiana concert appearance this summer. Bob Dylan will appear after Mellencamp. Then since this show is the 36th Annual Willie Nelson 4th of July picnic, Willie Nelson will close the show. At around 10:45 pm, a spectacular 4th of July fireworks will follow Willie's performance.

The concert will be general admission, with the choice of selecting a chair seat in the baseball seating area, or sitting on a blanket on the infield or outfield grass in front of the stage. Lawn chairs will not be permitted in the stadium. This will be a non - smoking show. Professional cameras and audio and video equipment of any kind will not be allowed into the stadium. No large backpacks will be admitted, and no outside food or beverage will be permitted.

This could well be the biggest rock concert in South Bend history, with three legendary singers, songwriters and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members, and promises to be a memorable evening at Coveleski Stadium.

In other concert news, tickets remain on sale for ALICE COOPER / BLUE OYSTER CULT on Sunday August 9, 7:30 pm at the Morris Performing Arts Center in South Bend. Tickets are available at the Morris box office, phone charge 574 / 235-9190 or

And Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members, legendary Southern California band The BEACH BOYS, with guest JOAN JETT, will appear at the beautiful riverside amphitheatre at Saint Patrick's Park in South Bend on Saturday August 15. Tickets are on sale now at the Morris box office, all Ticketmaster locations and
www.ticketmaster.com. Kids under 12 will be admitted free to The Beach Boys concert, one per paid adult ticket.

The Beach Boys show will feature a vintage car show including vehicles from South Bend's Studebaker Museum, and will have a fireworks display after the show. Owners of classic pre 1980 cars who would like to display their cars before attending the concert, will be admitted to the Saint Patrick's Park parking area closest to the entrance to the amphitheatre starting at 4:00 pm the day of the show. Gates to the concert will open at 5:30 pm, and showtime will be 7:00 pm. Festive summer food will be offered for sale at the concert.
