While most of us are making plans and stocking up for big Thanksgiving feasts, many in our communities are wondering where their next meal will come from.

Active Health and Wellness Center, at 3027 Mishawaka Avenue in South Bend, wants to help ease those worried minds. That’s why they are offering up to $25 off any insurance co-pay when patients bring a non-perishable food item to donate November 13th through the 18th.

“We constantly look for ways to give back to the community in a meaningful way, and providing a means for people to eat? Well, it doesn’t get any more meaningful than that,” said Dr. Pat Case, Board Certified Chiropractic Orthopedist at the facility.

Contributions will be donated to the Indiana Food Bank for distribution to those in need, and anyone simply wishing to make a donation is welcome to do so. For more information, please contact Jennifer at Active Health and Wellness at 574-259-9355.
