Are The Police Finally Reuniting?

It looks as though Genesis isn't the only trio making news this year. The Police, who went their separate ways in 1984, may also be reuniting. A spokesperson for Interscope Geffen A&M Records says, "As the 30th anniversary of the first Police single (Fall Out) approaches, discussions have been underway as to how this will be commemorated. While we can confirm that there will indeed be something special done to mark the occasion, the depth of the band's involvement still remains undetermined." A-and-M will reportedly mark the milestone with an anniversary release in the summer. The last time Sting, Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers performed together was in 2003 at their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
