Pat's Super Bowl Recipes
1 lb Ground Beef...1 lb bulk italian sausage...1/2 cup milk...1/2 cup minced onion...1 tsp salt...1/2 tsp ground black pepper...1 egg...1 tsp worchestershire...1 12 oz bottle chile sauce...1 1/4 cups grape jelly.
- Combine beef and sausage in a lg bowl with the dry bread crumbs and milk. Blend in ground pepper, onion, salt, egg, and worchestershire sauce. Mix thoroughly.
- Shape the beef mixture into 1 inch meatballs, space them evenly on a cookie sheet and back at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in medium saucepan, mix the chili sauce and grape jelly over medium heat, stirring occasionally until jelly melts.
- Remove meatballs from oven, place into a 9x3 pan. Pour the sauce over the browned meatballs and return the meatballs to the oven to simmer for 30 minutes.
SEVEN LAYER DIP
1 can of refried beans...1 container sour cream...1 packet hidden valley ranch dips mix...1 cup shredded lettuce...1 cup diced tomatoes...1 1/2 cups Mexican Style colby jack cheese...1 can 4oz diced green chilies, rinsed and drained...1 can sliced ripe olives, rinsed and drained.
- Spread refried beans on a 10 inch serving platter, blend sour cream and dip mix, spread over beans, layer lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, chilies, and black olives on top. Serve with tortilla chips.
