The Ronald McDonald Family Room is a home away from home for parents of seriously ill or injured children. Since opening its doors on November 5, 2002, approximately 12,000 families have utilized the facilities of the Ronald McDonald Family Room as day visitors or overnight guests. The Family Room can accommodate 35 families per day and includes three bedrooms, two baths with showers, a laundry room, kitchen, library and a common area. Due to community financial and in-kind support, there is no cost to families to utilize the Family Room.
Ronald McDonald Family Room board members also are selling raffle tickets for $5 each or five for $20. They will be at Whim & Wishes on Saturday, April 14 from 11 – 2 selling tickets. The winner does not need to be present at the event on April 20 to win.
