Cooking For Guys Who Can't: Mother's Day Edition

Make dinner for Mom this Sunday...our official TATB Chef Pat makes it easy!

You need a whole cut up chicken. Marinade it in buttermilk overnight, roll in cornflake crumbs (find them in the baker's aisle). Bake on the rack in the oven...not on a sheet...at 350 for 45 minutes or until the chicken is 165 degrees inside.

For the cheddar bacon potatoes, boil cut-up potatoes well and blend these ingredients with a mixer: 4 pieces of chopped bacon, 2 cups of shredded cheese, 2 tbsp of butter, and a cup of milk.

The Veggie Skewers are easy. Soak them in water for 20 minutes. Cook 'em over hot coals for 10 to 12 minutes. Brush them with Italian Dressing or Garlic Butter and serve them on rice. Chef Pat prefers the name brand Success Rice, where you just boil the bag for 10 minutes.
