...which knocked WAOR off the air for nearly 45 minutes, affected thousands of customers...including out transmitter...just before 8am.

Lights Back On For 8,000 Michiana Customers

The power has been restored for 8,000 I&M customers in Indiana and Michigan after a tree fell on a transmission line this morning near Kenilworth and Cleveland.

I&M spokesman David Mayne says temporary interruptions in service while crews complete repairs are possible, but not likely.
