As we reported yesterday, A-and-M Records will mark the 30th anniversary of the release of The Police's 1977 debut single, "Fall Out," this year. The label says, "While we can confirm that there will indeed be something special done to mark the occasion, the depth of the band's involvement still remains undetermined." However, that's not stopping the rumor mill from dishing the dirt. The latest item out of the U-K has the band getting together next month in England to begin rehearsing for a tour that would start in May or June. Sting's spokeswoman was unavailable to comment on this latest rumor.
