Despite being embroiled in a bitter divorce battle with Paul McCartney, Heather Mills is putting on her dancing shoes and will appear on Dancing With the Stars.
Her spokesman tells the B-B-C, "It's something that might take her mind off some of the difficulties she's been having. She's doing it because she loves dancing, always has, enjoys a challenge and sees this as a combination of both."
Mills, who lost her left leg below her knee in 1993 after being struck by a police motorcycle, will be the first contestant to dance with an artificial limb.
She will appear alongside country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, Muhammad Ali's daughter Laila, former 'N Sync singer Joey Fatone, former Sopranos cast member Vincent Pastore, Ian Ziering from Beverly Hills 9-0-2-1-0, Olympic speed skating champion Apolo Anton Ohno, former basketball great Clyde Drexler, Leeza Gibbons, and Ric Ocasek's wife, model Paulina Porizkova.
The contestants must learn a new dance with a professional partner each week, with the weakest one getting voted off. The next season starts airing March 19th on A-B-C.
