Cooking For Guys Who Can't Cook

This week, it's more like Cooking With A Guy Who Can't Sleep, as official TATB Chef Pat stayed up overnight to prepare a huge Turkey Dinner for us! Yes, guys, even WE can pull off a turkey, Pat says. And here's how:

Ingredients: 12lb Turkey, 1 lb chopped onions, 2 chopped celery stalks, 1 chopped carrot, 2 tbsp of butter, 2 tsp of the trusty 'ol Mrs. Dash flavoring salt, and a tsp of poultry seasoning.

Lightly pull back the skin on the breast, rub butter and seasonings under skin and all over the turkey. Stuff it with the chopped veggies, tuck it into the oven for 15 minutes at 350 degrees uncovered, to brown the skin. Then, tightly cover it with foil. Cook it for 1 hour at 350, then a further 3 1/2 hours at 250.

DAMN look at those potatoes. I love what this man does with potatoes...
To make the gravy, Pat recommends following the directions on the gravy packet, but use juice from the turkey instead of water.

To make this cold pasta salad, take 16 oz of mueller's pasta, chop two medium tomatoes, a small red onion, a green pepper, and a red pepper. You'll also need 1 1/2 cups of provalone cheese, a half-cup of sliced black olives, and a half-cup of Italian Dressing.
Cook the pasta per instructions on the box. Drain it. Mix well with the other ingredients. Refridgerate at least 4 hours, and stir before serving.

Can't talk now. Eating.
