Notes For The Weekend

  • Britney Spears is being accused of leaving a paparazzo seriously injured after he was knocked off his motorcycle. She was reportedly attempting to flee the paparazzi in Los Angeles when she collided with the rider on Monday (11-13), who was seriously injured.
  • That was Jorja Fox's last episode of "CSI" last night.
  • A new old look for "Trading Spaces," which includes bringing back the original host, Paige Davis.
  • Angelina Jolie's adoption of an Ethiopian baby was legal, the agency involved says, rejecting reports that the child's relatives want her back.
  • "Grey's Anatomy" star Ellen Pompeo, 38, and music exec Chris Ivery, 38, got married last Friday at New York's City Hall, with Mayor Michael Bloomberg as their witness.
  • O.J. Simpson was ordered to stand trial Wednesday in what prosecutors say was the armed robbery in Las Vegas of his own memorabilia from collectors.
  • Looks like Alex Rodriguez may return to the Yankees after all.
  • Paul McCartney says you'll see the Beatles music go digital next year.
  • Rumer Willis (daughter to Bruce) has been named 2008's Miss Golden Globe, which means she'll guide winners off the stage at the awards January 13.
  • This week's episode of "Family Guy" may not have a familiar sound to it. Last Sunday's episode was the last made before the writers' strike and its creator Seth MacFarlane walked out. He also does many of the main voices, but Fox is continuing to produce the show, meaning Peter, Brian and Stewie Griffin may sound a bit different until the strike is settled.
