Christmas Eve Vinyl Monday!

In Christmas of 1969, while rehearsing for the Band Of Gypsys performance at New York's Fillmore East, Jimi put together three holiday favorites straight to two-track recorder. He paired it with his version of Three Little Bears (recorded in May of '68), and put it out as a goof. This is an exceptional snapshot of Jimi Hendrix just having fun with some friends. This is not a typical polished and produced Hendrix recording, just an intimate portrait of a true artist letting it all hang out on raw tape.

For today's Vinyl Monday, we present both sides of the rare single:

Band Of Gypsys
Merry Christmas And Happy New Year
Little Drummer Boy/Silent Night/Auld Lang Syne
Three Little Bears
